I NEED OPINIONS, GUYS.

This is the length of my hair right now:

The big question is, should I cut it?

Pros to long hair are the fact that I can pull it back at least somewhat (though it’s so thick that I have to get it thinned and layered, which means pulling back usually involves one or two hairbands plus a stupid amount of bobby pins), and I suppose I can do some cool stuff with it? Cons are the super super thickness (it’s been thinned at the salon, and it’s still this thick), and the difficulty (due a lot to the thickness) of wearing wigs. It’s also a lot more maintenance and can be a huge pain in the butt to style. 

Pros to short hair are the low maintenance, the fact that it keeps me cool during the summer, and pretty much stays out of the way. The cons to this, however, are the lack of lots of hairstyles (the way I got it cut was short at the back, angled to longer in the front, and there just wasn’t much you could do with it), and the way my hair works, the part near my glasses does this stupidly ridiculous curly flippy thing sometimes that I don’t really like. 

I’m really really open to options. Like, if you have a cool idea for a haircut, shoot. I’m open to seeing it. And there’s really no limits as to how short, I’ll take every opinion and idea into consideration! If nothing else, a suggestion as to keeping it this way or cutting it would be great, because my hair is just really hot right now but I’m having a hard time making a decision.

I do straighten my hair, and I also dye it. If that’s of any importance. It’s in really good condition, and it’s naturally wavy with these rather wide waves. My hair strands themselves are very very fine, though my hair as a whole is super thick. 

So, what should I do?
